Having been immersed in a world of visual and expressive arts, Djinane brings to her work today a deep inquiry fostering curiosity, compassion, and play using a trauma and polyvagal-informed lens to merge somatics and yoga; therapeutic movement for enhancing human function and body-mind integration.

Advanced Certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga & Somatics

Heather Ding

Heather has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. From the moment she started, she always wanted to be a yoga teacher. In 2019, she “went for it” and became a registered yoga teacher (RYS200).

Heather also received her laughter yoga certification in 2020. With the certification, she hopes to bring laughter to those who need it.

Her class is held every other Sunday at 10am at Jiaren Yoga Studio in Santa Clara, CA. She also is available for private sessions.

Nicole Griffin is a yoga and mindfulness instructor, wellness coach, and MENA retreat leader. She is fascinated by the intersections of embodiment, social justice, culture, and behavior change.

Nicole works to empower people to live brave and authentic lives and to create cultures of truthfulness and care. She is a fierce advocate for wellness and wellbeing for all.

Candace Martin

Advanced Certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga & Somatics

Candace Martin is the Founder of both the Young Yogi Program and Interfaith Yoga Project. Her mindClass curriculum is a justice centered program rooted in mindfulness, social/emotional regulation and interpersonal learning. The Interfaith Yoga Project rotates hosting practices through faith communities providing positive interfaith education and experiences. Candace is interested in the vast reach of vedic wisdom as a space holder for relational connection and is grateful for her teacher, Michelle Cassandra Johnson as a guide in the healing work of connecting the borrowed practice of yoga to social justice movements.

She is currently working with Las Vegas Youth Court as well as SafeNest, an organization working to end the epidemic of sexual and domestic violence.
