Who can participate in these groups?

Foundations Mentorship Group is open to those who have completed either Trauma-Informed Yoga Basics, Trauma & Embodied Social Justice, or both.

Facilitation Mentorship Group is open to those who have a Foundational Certification and have completed both Intermediate 1 & Intermediate 2.

Mentorship Groups are for you if you want an opportunity to reflect and deepen your understanding + get feedback on how to integrate and incorporate what you’ve learned into your work and setting.

Participating in both Mentorship Groups is also required for anyone wanting to complete the Advanced Trauma-Informed Yoga Certification program (150hrs total).

How are the groups designed?

Mentorship Groups are structured, cohort-based forums for consultation, reflection, practice, and feedback. Groups have a maximum of fifteen people, are scheduled for six weekly meetings, and have the opportunity to do structured reflection and integration work in between sessions.

Attendance and live participation is mandatory. Participants can miss only up to two meetings and must make them up by watching the recordings.

Mentorship Groups are offered on a sliding scale* (see below); you can register for a group at any of these levels without special permission or codes. We trust you will contribute what it sustainable for you:

-$295* | Supporter Rate
-$265* | Sustainer Rate
-$235* | Supported Rate

Two partial scholarships (half-off the Sustainer Rate) are also available per group. If you would like to apply, click HERE.

*NOTE: pricing for Mentorship Groups will increase in 2024 to be more in line with our other training prices

What will I learn?

This small-group, cohort format allows students to review specific concepts and skills taught in the various modules while getting to know each other and diving deeper into their learning and application than would otherwise be possible in a one-time consultation or training. The online, real-time video-conference sessions and between-session work are designed to build on each other in a scaffolded, progressive learning and integration process.

What do Mentorship Groups cover?

FOUNDATIONS and FACILITATION topics include:

  • Applying the COPE and FAITH frameworks to your work and your setting

  • How systems of privilege and oppression are playing out in your work and how to address and ameliorate their effects

  • What different nervous system patterns look like in students and clients and how to work with them

  • Case studies where we apply what we’ve learned to real-life situations and environments you’re working in

Ingrained in all Collective Resilience trainings and groups is the understanding that systemic patterns of trauma, privilege, marginalization, and oppression (such as poverty, racism, ableism, and homophobia among others) must be addressed in order to cultivate healing for all individuals.
